With Tottenham gets the new stadium as approved Haringey council, this stadium is the highlight of the Premier League this year.

In December 2015 the Tottenham Hotspur stadium was granted permission to be worked upon. The stadium is designed to be state of the art and has the capacity to seat about 61000 people. The stadium is located on the White Hart lane.

Designed by Daniel Levy, who feels it is his momentous work. Many have wondered whether it is comparable to Arsenal and there are several reasons that stand in Spurs’ favor. If you look at the Arsenal grounds it has a maximum capacity of 60,000 whereas Spurs will be able to hold 61000 people. Though the difference might be slight but football is known to be a game where small margins make a difference. Hence, the extra seats can definitely make a difference when it comes to cheers and inspiring crowds.

Spurs fans are excited at the prospect of moving to a new 60,000 seater stadium in the next few years.

The club has started work on this new stadium after recently receiving the Mayor’s approval. The project is expected to cost in the region of £400 million with some of the funds coming in as sponsorship. As the club start to challenge with Leicester City for the league title this season, many Spurs fans believe that this new stadium is essential if the club are to keep their place amongst the elite clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea.

The construction of a new stadium puts a major dent in the spending power of the club in a transfer window.

This has been true even for the top clubs like Arsenal. Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino reckons that his club will also face a similar situation in the coming few years. The money that is expected to be available for the manager in the transfer window is expected to be lowered. The club are building a brand-new 60,000 seater stadium that will rival the best in the business.

Tottenham are reportedly looking at different ways of increasing the revenue from the proposed new stadium, which will hold almost 60,000 spectators.

Rather than just being used for football matches, the club are planning to build the stadium in such a way that it can host NFL matches as well. This would make it a very attractive proposition and only second to the new Wembley when it comes to bidding. As part of the plans, Tottenham have confirmed that they are looking at ways to use artificial pitches and retractable roofs. The new stadium is expected to be opened in time for the 2018-19 season.

Tottenham Hotspur has had to deal with a lengthy court battle with Archway in order to try and solve some of the issues that the football club has been experiencing concerning their plans of building a new 56,000 seater stadium.

Earlier in the month of March, the English club announced that they had agreed to a deal where they have officially acquired the piece of land that was interfering in the stadium expansion process.

Tottenham Hotspur is receiving a string of good news as the club has recently securing the services of Harry Kane at least until 2020 after the young player signed a new contract but there is also something else that is occurring which will benefit the club but it has nothing to do with the actual squad, it has to do with the stadium.

The English club has had plans since 2007 on increasing the capacity of the White Hart Lane stadium and it has now been revealed that the final roadblock that was interfering with this process has now been removed.

There was a piece of land that was preventing construction from being initiated but it has now been made official that Tottenham Hotspur has been granted the right to buy this remaining terrain that was standing in their way.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has labelled Dirk Kuyt has one of the most underrated players he has played with.

The former Dutch international represented Liverpool for more than five years between 2006 and 2012.

He is right now playing with Turkish club Fenerbahce. Even though his Liverpool spell only brought him one major trophy in the form of a League Cup, he is widely remembered for the selfless work he did in his time at the club.
